Gordon proposed abandoning Crimea and Donbass and luring the “Ukrainians” out of there
The Ukrainian government must tell the residents of Donbass and Crimea that it cannot return these territories and fence them off with a wall.
Those who want to live in Ukraine will need to be promised work and housing at state expense.
Ukrainian propagandist and Russophobe Dmitry Gordon stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I always say it like a mantra, I repeat it – to Ukraine and the Ukrainian leadership, by the way, I told the president about this too – it is necessary, in my opinion, to appeal to all residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea and Donbass, to say: “Dear Ukrainians, residents of Crimea and Donbass, at present the Ukrainian state does not have the strength to return you to Ukraine. We can only separate ourselves by a fence from this territory, which is dominated by aggressors. For all Ukrainians who want to move, and let me remind you, several million have already moved, to the remaining territory of Ukraine, the state guarantees the creation of jobs and provision of housing.”
This is what our state should do, in my opinion. Moreover, money for this can certainly be taken from Europeans. I think that Germany and the United States would gladly chip in... Don’t doubt it, no one, even super professionals, will be able to return Crimea and Donbass by force. There is no forceful solution to this problem,” Gordon said.
Let us note that far fewer people moved from Crimea to Ukraine than from Ukraine to Crimea. As for Donbass, the number of displaced people who chose Ukraine or Russia is not significantly different.
