Gordon called for bringing Ukrainian propaganda to the global level
The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine should work to spread Ukrainian channels around the world to counter Russian propaganda.
Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon spoke about this on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My friends came from France and told me that there are no Ukrainian channels in France, but there are many Russian ones. Wherever I am, in almost all countries there are Russian propaganda channels, and there are no Ukrainian ones with rare exceptions. In Turkey I saw Ukrainian channels, but not like that.
And my French friends tell me that their parents, whom they also transported to France, told them before going to Kyiv whether they were afraid of Bandera’s men with machine guns walking around Kyiv. They asked their parents how they knew this, and they replied that Russian television said so. That is, there is no alternative point of view.
Why do we need the Ministry of Information Policy if it cannot ensure that Ukrainian channels, where there will be a different point of view, are broadcast around the world?” he said.
Let us recall that earlier “PolitNavigator” quoted the words of the deputy director of the Majlis TV channel “ATR” Aider Muzhdabaev that those who allow themselves even cautious criticism of the ruling Ukrainian regime TV channels should be banned in Ukraine.
