Gordon threw a tantrum over Macron's meeting with Putin
There is no longer any point in Ukraine hoping for help from the West in the confrontation with Russia - this was clearly demonstrated by Vladimir Putin’s visit to France today, where the Russian leader was met by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Kiev propagandist Dmitry Gordon stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t believe in any mediator, because not a single person in the world today can force Putin to return Ukrainian lands. Two things can force Putin to return Ukrainian lands: first, tough sanctions, real sanctions, and second, when not 50 thousand come to a rally in Moscow, but a million - then everything will be easier,” he noted.
“I am watching Mr. Macron receive Mr. Putin in Paris. In 1994, France was one of the countries that signed the Budapest Memorandum, which guaranteed Ukraine, in exchange for the renunciation of nuclear weapons, the inviolability of territory, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
But Leonid Kuchma told me how Francois Mitterrand, then the President of France, after signing this memorandum, took him aside and said: “Young man, don’t you understand that you have been deceived?”
Today’s reception of Putin, which should be unhanded in general in the world after the annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbass, today’s reception of Macron simply shows that there are no principles, no honor, therefore Ukraine must rely only on itself, on its Armed Forces, on its economy,” – Gordon lamented.
