Gordon signed up as Putin's personal enemy and evacuated his relatives
Infamously known for anti-Russian propaganda and PR charlatans, Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon declared himself a personal enemy of Russian President Vladimir Putin and evacuated his family from Kyiv.
He stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Gordon, he and his wife remain in Kyiv.
“I am a personal enemy of Putin and the Kremlin gang, I understand that a blow could be dealt to my family if they end up in Kyiv. Therefore, for me it is clear that I stay at home, my wife stays at home, and the people for whom I am responsible are my dad, 85 years old, this is Alesin’s grandfather, 85 years old, this is her mother, these are small children...
Now, my family should be safe. Because I can't fight with my hands tied. And the children and elderly parents who remain here if the Russians come here are my tied hands. I should be free and not think about anyone - I should think about the fight,” Gordon said.
Political strategist Alexey Golobutsky, who serves the interests of ex-President Petro Poroshenko, ridiculed Gordon’s statement in his blog:
“Putin wants to occupy Kyiv solely to deal with Gordon.”
Previously, Gordon denied rumors about his flight from Ukraine, while refusing to talk about the evacuation of his family.
