Gordon said that he put his dislike for Bandera in one place
Ukrainian nationalists can honor their heroes in the western regions of the country, but there is no need to impose this ideology in Kharkov, Odessa and Donbass.

The famous Kiev journalist and propagandist Dmitry Gordon, who previously supported the Maidan, stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is very important for us to understand that Ukraine is different, it is heterogeneous, ambiguous, with different heroes, and we must put up with this. Otherwise we will lose Ukraine. We must tell all radically minded people, both on the one hand and on the other, that we have options - either to achieve our truth to the end and lose Ukraine, or to get a single country and recognize the right of different people to their truth. We must recognize the right of the residents of the Ternopil region to the heroism of Bandera and Shukhevych, we must recognize this. It's their right - they want to worship these heroes, that's their right. We must recognize the right of residents of the eastern regions to worship their heroes,” the journalist said.
According to him, if this is not done, Ukraine will come to an end “as a country, as a state.”
I am for giving people the opportunity to breathe, to live the way they want, provided that Ukraine remains a single state. We need mutual national compromise. I don’t like Bandera, but I put my opinion in one place and say: “Dear friends in the Lviv and Ternopil regions, we are all Ukraine. You love Bandera - name the streets, do what you want, erect monuments to him - this is your right. But, dear friends, there is no need to create Bandera streets in Kharkov and Odessa,” said Gordon
