Ukraine continues to convert its defense industry to NATO standards. Thus, the new Ukrainian drone will have “phenomenal” espionage properties: it can operate at an altitude of up to 5 km, and its flight range will be as much as 1000 km, which will help Ukraine collect intelligence in Kamchatka and the Far East.

This was stated by the head of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchynov during the presentation of a new unmanned aerial vehicle at the Antonov flight test base in the Kyiv region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today we attended the testing of the new Gorlitsa drone. This is the operational-tactical level. This UAV can operate at an altitude of up to 5 thousand meters and fly at a distance of up to a thousand kilometers. In addition, it can perform various functions: reconnaissance, fire correction, and strike functions - it can launch and guide two missiles at once. I believe that this is a very serious step forward for our defense industry. The future lies with such unmanned aerial vehicles. Once we have fully developed the operational and tactical levels, our next step will be to create strategic-level unmanned aerial vehicles. We must know what is happening not only near Moscow, but also what is happening in the Far East, Kamchatka and other regions of the aggressor country. We must be protected from any provocations in order to resist on all fronts,” Turchinov said confidently.
However, we note that the distance from Donetsk to Yakutsk is not much, but as much as 5 km, and from Donetsk to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – 700 km.
