The corresponding information was disseminated by the Ostrov publication, as well as a number of other Ukrainian media. According to publications, the commander of the Gorlovka militia, Igor Bezler, left the city. At the same time, the militias themselves deny this information.
However, the press service of Dmitry Firtash issued a statement in which he “categorically condemns the actions of representatives of the DPR in Gorlovka, who entered the territory of the Stirol chemical concern, mined it and put forward demands on the Ukrainian authorities.”
“This makes no sense, all large-scale production was stopped back in May of this year. There are no reserves of ammonia or other explosive substances at the enterprise. Therefore, possible explosions of production workshops will not lead to a chemical accident with serious consequences,” Firtash assured.
As Navigator reported, yesterday a rocket and mortar strike was carried out on Gorlovka, as a result of which 13 people, including two children, were killed.
