Miners of the former mine of the Ukrainian oligarch in the DPR took up arms
DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko denied Ukrainian media reports that claimed that in response to the introduction of external control at the Zasyadko mine, its former owner, Ukrainian oligarch Efim Zvyagilsky, would send weapons to the miners to rebel against the authorities of the republic.

“You know, I always knew Zvyagilsky as a person who mines and sells coal. I never thought that Zvyagilsky became an arms baron. But if this happens, we will accept all the weapons that are sent to us from the territory of Ukraine. A country at war never has enough weapons. Therefore, we need additional weapons.
Secondly, on Wednesday journalists were at the Zasyadko mine, and I did not see anyone offering to take up arms.
About 650 people from the Zvyagilsky mine are fighting in the army of the Donetsk People's Republic. They have already taken up arms, and these arms are directed against Ukraine,” Zakharchenko said.
