Donbass miners marched through the capital of the DPR
Today, in the center of Donetsk, on the occasion of the upcoming Miner’s Day, a festive procession of Donbass miners took place, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us note that according to official data, about 4000 people took part in the event.
At the head of the procession were honored figures of the coal industry. They were followed by representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the Republic: Chairman of the National Assembly of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Alexander Timofeev.
The column was continued by representatives of the coal enterprises of Donetsk, Makeevka, Shakhtersk, Kirovsky, Torez, Snezhny, among which were such giants as Makeevugol, Torezantracite, mines named after. Zasyadko and Komsomolets Donbassa.
The parade was also attended by power engineers, representatives of the State Committee for Mining and Technical Supervision, trade union federations and others. The participants carried in their hands DPR flags and banners with the inscriptions “Glory to the miners’ labor” and “Glory to the miners.”
The press service of the Ministry of Coal and Energy of the DPR reported that about 50 miners from the territory of the Donetsk region temporarily controlled by Kyiv came to the event
“Miners and veterans of the coal industry from all over the Donbass, more than 50 miners from the territory of the Donetsk region temporarily controlled by Kiev, came to Donetsk for the solemn celebration of Miner’s Day,” the ministry noted.
According to the department, the guests will represent the associations Dzerzhinskugol, Selidovugol, Krasnoarmeyskugol and DTEK Dobropolyeugol.
