“The city is intimidated by the dogs of Azov and Akhmetov”: The situation in Mariupol
In Mariupol, where the day before the militants of the Azov National Battalion together with President Vladimir Zelensky celebrated the fifth anniversary of the capture of the second largest city of the DPR, the local population is being subjected to real terror.
The leader of the Union of Left Forces party, ex-member of the Verkhovna Rada Vasily Volga said this on the TV channel “Russia 1”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is Mariupol like now? I will tell you. This is a city that has been intimidated today, this is a city where these “Azov” dogs and all the other dogs are roaming around the city.
Any person who even shows any initiative, on the one hand, is dismissed from work by Akhmetov, and, on the other hand, if a public organization appears and gives at least some voice to democracy, the dogs of “Azov” are beaten into blood.
Is this a situation that, in your opinion, exists in a democratic country?” the politician addressed the Ukrainian experts who were in the studio.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that on Saturday, militants of the Azov national regiment together with Ukrainian security forces from other units held a solemn march in Mariupol in honor of the fifth anniversary of the capture of the city.
