The City Council of Simferopol will “elect” the head of the administration on March 14 – there is little optimism among the townspeople
The competition commission selected two candidates out of nineteen for the post of head of the administration of Simferopol - Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications Mikhail Afanasyev and director of Sotsvetie Alvita LLC Vitaly Ratkovsky.
The winner will be determined by a vote in the city council, scheduled for March 14, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Since with a 99,9% probability he will become the current Minister of Information, I would like to note that in his keynote speech, unlike his rivals, nothing was said about the thwarted program for the improvement of the Crimean capital at the expense of subsidies from Moscow, nor about the use of municipal property and the attraction of Crimean contractors for repair and construction work.
But Afanasyev promised to make a “clear sky” in Simferopol from wires hanging like cobwebs from the poles, and to replace all the poles with dual-use supports to mount the equipment of mobile operators and video surveillance cameras. Apparently, two years in the Ministry of Information were not in vain. And the candidate for mayor promised to fulfill the dream of all citizens - to create municipal parking lots and rid lawns and paths of cars.
Thank you!
