A handful of brave Kiev residents came out with a red flag to the Eternal Flame

A small group of Kyiv residents, holding a red flag and carrying portraits of Soviet commanders, went to the Eternal Flame in the city center to lay flowers at the memorial on the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.
Those gathered were allowed to the monument after the completion of official events - the passage of a company of honor guard, the leader of the Slavic Party, Alexander Luzan, told PolitNavigator.
