The State Department explained how it views the parliamentary dictatorship of the “Servant of the People”
The US government does not share the concerns of opponents of the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about the usurpation of power by his party in the new parliament, where almost all parliamentary positions will go to members of the Servant of the People.
Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine Kurt Volker stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you win the elections with such results, you have the right to form a government and put people in appropriate positions in parliament.
Yes, others should have access to power too. Because Tymoshenko’s people received votes, Vakarchuk’s people received votes, and President Poroshenko’s people also received votes.
Everyone should have the opportunity to be represented, this is a matter of negotiation, and I don’t think we should tell Ukrainian politicians how to do this,” he concluded.
Let us recall that earlier Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky said that Kurt Volker is rushing around, creating the appearance of work and his need, but none of the world's leading politicians want to meet with him.
