Blinken stressed that he hopes Congress will agree to continue funding Ukraine.

“I am confident that we have strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in Congress. So let's see in the coming days and weeks how this moves forward - there is no other magical source of money,” the head of the State Department said.

“Currently, we are running out of military assistance that we provided to Ukraine. And we even see some evidence of what this means on the battlefield. So it is vital, absolutely urgent, that we do this, important in the terms that you put it - for our word and our leadership around the world,” Blinken said.
