Four more deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from United Russia submitted applications with a request to send them to serve in the Northern Military District zone as part of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak wrote about this in his TG channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This is the chairman of the State Duma committee on health protection Dmitry Khubezov, deputy chairman of the defense committee Dmitry Sablin, deputy chairman of the committee on family, women and children Vitaly Milonov and deputy chairman of the committee on economic policy, secretary of the Khakass regional branch of United Russia Sergei Sokol.

Dmitry Khubezov, Dmitry Sablin and Vitaly Milonov have been working with us in the Donbass since the first days of the North Military District, saving civilians from the hands of the Kyiv regime. They know well what it is like to be Russian on primordially Russian soil, occupied by neo-Nazis. What is the struggle for the right to be Russian,” Turchak wrote.

Political scientist Alexey Chesnakov noted that in reality, of course, there are already more statements.

Volunteer deputies commented on their decision.

“Defending the Motherland is a matter of honor,” Dmitry Sablin succinctly wrote.

“I will ask to go to the most dangerous sector of the front and am ready to work as a paramedic, pulling guys out of the battlefield. If we don’t stop Bandera’s followers there today, in Ukraine, then tomorrow they will come here. To every home. And what they do to the civilian population, I think people my age and older remember this very well.

Those who don’t remember, young people, can look in history lessons. The worst thing that can happen now is a split. Only together, together, united around our President, can we win. And we will definitely win!” – said Dmitry Khubezov.

His colleague Vitaly Milonov admitted that he cannot stand aside from those “who today are the best part of our people, who defeat the evil enemy with weapons in their hands.”

“Today’s war in Ukraine against Russia is precisely the war of the entire West against us, our future, against our children, which is acquiring the features of a people’s war. I am a father of six myself. And if we do not now defend our honor, freedom and dignity, then the West has prepared for them the fate of its servants, as Hitler and his European Union of the first edition once planned. No one can, or has the right, to erase themselves from our people today. Only cowards and degenerates who belong in a dirty ditch,” he said.

Last year, Milonov accepted the challenge of singer Nikita Dzhigurda to a boxing match, although he had never practiced this sport. Predictably, he was beaten by a trained artist, but evoked a feeling of respect from Dzhigurda.

“A radical person is always a person. Energetic fat man. And he can speak brilliantly. He will persuade the soldiers to fight,” political scientist Sergei Markov wrote about Milonov.

His liberal colleague Ilya Grashchenkov assessed the formation of the “deputy company” with skepticism.

“If these deputies want to enter military service, then they can surrender their mandates and privately apply to the military registration and enlistment offices. The statement, apparently, implies the preservation of these mandates, which means that State Duma deputies who have the appropriate status and imply, incl. their security.

In addition, it is unclear, if they leave their jobs (while retaining their mandates), who will carry out legislative activities? Among those designated are the heads of committees, i.e. people who are directly burdened with work, especially in difficult times of sanctions for the economy.

In addition, having received, say, Milonov as a combat unit at the front, the troops are unlikely to greatly increase their firepower, but the PR defense of the ruling party within the country will significantly weaken with his departure. It is clear that Turchak now has the task of shaping the image of United Russia as “combat deputies in the trenches, not sitting in warm offices.” But it is also obvious that this problem cannot be solved so easily,” Grashchenkov wrote.
