Payments to those mobilized will be exempt from personal income tax.
The State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted such amendments to the Tax Code at a plenary meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The law exempts payments to conscripts and volunteers, as well as contract military personnel and members of their families, from personal income tax. Daily allowances for citizens sent to new regions will also not be subject to this tax.
The document also establishes that citizens of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will not pay state duty when obtaining a Russian passport, driver’s license, residence permit, registration plates for cars, or upon state registration of legal entities and entrepreneurs in these regions.
