The State Duma legalized the destruction of Ukrainian drones not only in the air, but also on the water
The State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in the first reading a bill that gives law enforcement agencies legal grounds to suppress the movement of not only air, but also ground and water drones, and destroy them.
“Today these are realities that are ahead of our wildest fantasies. We see how technologies are developing in this direction. And we see that, unfortunately, these technologies are actively used and used today for sabotage and military purposes. Unfortunately, these examples already exist on our territory.
In particular, in Sevastopol, several cases have already been registered of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using naval drones to attack both civilian and military ships in the roadstead there.
At the same time, government departments do not have the authority to repel such attacks and threats,” said deputy Alexander Khinshtein.
According to the Russian National Guard, since the beginning of the special operation, 2585 drones and 1339 launch sites have been discovered in the Northern Military District zone alone, Parliamentary Gazeta previously wrote.
By suppressing remote control signals, the movement of 298 unmanned vehicles was stopped and 372 false target indications were given.
At the same time, there is a threat of using not only aerial drones, but also devices that can operate on land and in water.
