The State Duma will reward the border guards who stopped the provocation in the Kerch Strait
Employees of the border service of the FSB of the Russian Federation, who stopped the provocation of the Ukrainian Navy in the Kerch Strait, will be nominated by the Russian parliament for state awards.
Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our border guards behaved impeccably; they courageously and effectively solved the problems of protecting our borders. They complied with all international norms and regulations. I would like representatives of other states to understand this.
For our part, we have instructed the Security and Anti-Corruption Committee to consider the issue of rewarding border guards who participated in preventing violations of our border and protecting the rule of law,” he said.
