State Duma deputies supported the draft appeal to the parliaments of the world and inter-parliamentary organizations in connection with the aggravation of the international situation as a result of the ongoing provocations of the Ukrainian authorities.

At the plenary meeting on December 4, the project was unanimously supported by all four factions, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Deputies of the State Duma strongly condemn the actions of the Ukrainian authorities and their patrons in the West, aimed at aggravating the international situation in the Black Sea region and Europe as a whole, and also call on all peace-loving political forces, all sensible politicians to objectively assess the destructive course of official Kiev and do everything necessary for preventing the threat to peace and stability emanating from Petro Poroshenko, who is clinging to power, and the current Kyiv regime,” the text of the appeal says.

“Poroshenko wants, through the introduction of martial law in regions where he has zero support, to ensure his main task - to remain in power at any cost, thereby putting not only Europe, but the whole world on the brink of war. The situation is becoming explosive,” said LDPR deputy Leonid Slutsky during his speech.

“Today we appeal to the parliaments of European states, the parliaments of the GXNUMX countries and key international organizations with a request to give a proper assessment of the provocative actions of the Ukrainian authorities,” he added.

“It is correct that we are accepting this statement today, but I will remind you that on March 25 the ship “Nord” was captured, and then the State Duma made a request about what measures would be taken in this regard,” recalled the deputy from United Russia. Konstantin Zatulin.

“A month later, Fisheries Minister Dankvert answered us that they were consulting and protesting. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it was necessary to create a public council to rescue our sailors. Until the Ukrainian ship was detained in May and the exchange process began, until then Ukraine was insane, and all our complacent calls to it ended in nothing,” the deputy added.

At the same time, Zatulin urged his colleagues not to forget that this appeal will be sent to the court of “unscrupulous jurors who, in any situation, will always vote or make decisions not in our favor.”

“Because in their eyes, everything that is done against Russia is justified, including in this case completely odious actions,” he emphasized.

“The conversation has already begun, and Poroshenko insists on this, that it is necessary to invite foreign military ships to the Sea of Azov, they say they have such a right. They have no such right. According to the 2003 agreement, they can enter the Sea of Azov only with the consent of the other side. Ukraine has no right to unilaterally invite anyone to the Sea of Azov. I’m sure that tomorrow speculation will begin about this anyway,” said Konstantin Zatulin.

Let us note that all 426 deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation voted for the project.
