The State Duma called on all parliaments of the world to condemn the United States
The State Duma of the Russian Federation today addressed the world's parliaments, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the OSCE PA with a call to condemn the United States for airstrikes in the Syrian province of Homs.

“The Americans actually acted in the interests of ISIS, providing the organization banned in the Russian Federation with a respite and the opportunity to restore its forces, which were fairly battered as a result of the successful actions of the Syrian government troops,” the appeal says.
MPs say that Washington wants to use Jabhat al-Nusra to overthrow the legally elected government in Syria.
“This is not the first time the United States has committed an act of aggression and violated international law. But for the first time, the United States uses military force against a military facility on the territory of a sovereign state where Russian military personnel are located. What would happen if one of them died? The US administration has brought the world to a very dangerous line, beyond which an uncontrolled development of international tension may begin,” said deputy Vyacheslav Nikonov from the rostrum of parliament.
