This proposal was made by United Russia deputy Evgeniy Revenko.
“The West simply scolded Poroshenko. The German Foreign Ministry received the news “with some concern,” and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe expressed “concern.” Everyone is somehow shy, they don’t want to stir up a scandal. At the ceremony of signing the agreement on a visa-free regime, no one asked Poroshenko a single unpleasant question, but everyone signed everything,” Revenko said.
The proposal was supported by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
“We participate in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and have every right to propose this solution. Protecting the rights of citizens is the mandate of the OSCE,” Volodin said.
