The State Duma approved the Yarovaya law
The State Duma, in the third reading, adopted a bill that makes it possible to block online communities that are dangerous for children, the information in which can incline them to commit crimes.
Its author is State Duma deputy Irina Yarovaya, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, information that puts the lives of children and other people in danger, which can negatively affect their behavior, will be blocked on the Internet.
“Today we give law enforcement officers an additional tool for preventive measures to prevent crimes related specifically to involvement in obviously illegal actions that are dangerous to the life and health of children, as well as to the life and health of others. A new, additional procedure appears that allows
promptly block content that is dangerous to the life and health of children,
associated with involvement in such well-known criminal communities as Columbine, AUE and others,” Yarovaya said.
