This is the general opinion of hotel business specialists surveyed by Navigator.

To clarify the picture, we monitored price offers and occupancy of various categories of hotels - from luxury hotels to hostels for students.

So, the first category includes the city’s only 5-star hotel “Aquamarine” in Victory Park and the 3-star “Sevastopol” in the center.

According to the administrator of Aquamarine, most of the guests are Muscovites and residents of Russian regions. Guests who come on business and business trips predominate, but a significant proportion of family tourists with children remains. There are only a few foreign tourists.

The cost of hotel rooms ranges from 9 rubles for a standard single room and up to 600 rubles per night for a deluxe room.

At the Sevastopol Hotel, part of the Best Western international chain, the cost of a standard single room is 3 rubles, and a suite for two will cost 845 rubles per day.

Information about the occupancy of the hotel is closed, but we note that Sevastopol usually accommodates members of government and departmental delegations arriving in the city.

We placed private mini-hotels in the second conditional category. In this segment of the hotel market, the cost of accommodation depends on the area, proximity to the sea and the range of services. The owners complain that, excluding the Navy Day holiday, hotel occupancy is 30%. In addition, most tourists were unable to get into the city due to queues at the ferry crossing in Kerch.

Thus, the LOT mini-hotel, located on the North Side, offers rooms for 865 rubles per night, the resort and health complex “Sand Bay” in Streletskaya Bay - for 1 rubles. The Sabrina cottage in the village of Orlovka will accommodate guests for 668 rubles per day, and the private guest house Nadezhda in the city center offers a double room for 880 rubles. A room in the Listrigon motel in Balaklava will cost 2 rubles per day.

According to the database of the Ostrovok room booking site, there are 44 hotels in Greater Sevastopol. As of Thursday, 25% of rooms are available. There are also 11 available rooms on July 26-27 - Black Sea Fleet Navy Day.

As monitoring has shown, the cheapest option and more suitable for traveling youth may be to stay in a hostel.

Accommodation in “Sunny Hostel” on Bolshaya Morskaya in 6 and 10 bed rooms per day per person is 480 and 550 rubles. According to its employees, the hostel operates at full capacity until the fall.

And in the Sevastopol hostel "Chaika" in 3- or 4-bed rooms per person, accommodation costs 500 rubles per day with breakfast. A family room will cost 600 rubles per person.

And finally, another option for tourists is renting an apartment from the owners on a daily basis. This will be the next topic of the Navigator.
