Is Ukraine ready to truly fight with Russia?
Adopted by the Verkhovna Rada the law in the first reading, in which Russia is recognized as an “aggressor and occupier,” actually means a declaration of war on the Russian Federation.

The director of the Ukrainian political consulting group, Dmitry Razumkov, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we recognize Russia as an aggressor country, then it will not be entirely correct to carry out in the future any financial, economic and trade transactions with a de facto enemy state. Therefore, any mechanisms and actions that replenish the budget of the Russian Federation must be blocked. One of these mechanisms is the transportation of energy resources to Europe, which occurs through the territory of Ukraine,” the political scientist said.
At the same time, he made it clear that Europe is unlikely to have a positive attitude towards the decision to stop gas transit through Ukraine, despite the fact that it is based on the logic of the adopted law.
“You can't be half decent. We either have to go all the way - then this means breaking the Great Treaty with Russia and many other things, perhaps even up to the withdrawal of the embassy, but this is actually a declaration of war. Whether we are ready for such actions today also remains a question. I think that with all due respect, with all the fact that the Ukrainian army has gained a certain weight in recent years with blood and sweat and has recovered to a certain extent, it will still be difficult to resist the Russian army,” Razumkov admitted.
