Deputy Prosecutor General Alexey Baganets stated this on air on the Kyiv Channel 5.
“Today, interrogations of people’s deputies are underway by investigators in particularly important cases. We even make accommodations to the people’s deputies so as not to interrupt them during voting - we were given a special interrogation room there, where investigators from the Prosecutor General’s Office work,” the prosecutor noted.
“Of course, today we have sent a request to the State Border Service, which must give us information about which of the people’s deputies at that time was objectively not in the hall of the Verkhovna Rada, who was actually absent, and whose cards, votes or hands voted, and accordingly , it is possible that new suspects may appear in this criminal proceeding,” emphasized Alexey Baganets.
