Kyiv, December 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Former people's deputies of Ukraine Igor Kaletnik and Vladimir Oleynik were charged with suspicion of organizing an illegal vote in the Verkhovna Rada on January 16.

“Due to the presence of the suspects outside, the investigator put them on the wanted list, and the Pechersky District Court of Kiev, based on the results of consideration of petitions from the General Prosecutor’s Office, gave permission for their detention,” the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
The Prosecutor General's Office said that the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Main Investigation Department compiled a report of suspicion against Kaletnik and Oleynik. According to the GPU, on January 16, 2014, ex-deputies, having prepared in advance the minutes of the meeting of the counting commission and indicating in them the results of the vote that had not yet been held, organized a deliberately illegal voting process in the Verkhovna Rada for a number of laws that the “Maidanovites” called “dictatorial.”
On December 1, he announced suspicion, which became possible only after the people's deputies of Ukraine of the 7th convocation resigned.
