The GPU took up arms against the “signatories” of the Kharkov agreements
The first day of referendums on the entry of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation. Ukrainian and Western figures and organizations are rushing to declare condemnation and non-recognition of the results of the plebiscite.
The organizers and participants of the referendum are threatened with terrible punishments from all sides.
“The commissions go door to door and can even break down doors if they know that people are there. Taxi drivers are forced to carry ballots and commissions for free. Cities are closed so that people cannot leave and vote. But we know how this will end - neither Ukraine nor the entire civilizational world will recognize the results of this “referendum,” the pseudo-head of the Lugansk region Sergei Gaidai rages.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the UG (terrorist Ukrainian state) also joined the general information flow, but with an agenda that was 12 years old. The GPU, on the occasion of the upcoming secession of further territories from Ukraine, has intensified phantom pains in connection with the loss of Crimea.
The prosecutors found the root cause of all the misfortunes of Ukraine - the so-called “Kharkov Agreements” - and decided to punish the perpetrators.
“The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, who are suspected of treason,” the department’s press service reported.
We are talking about ex-ministers in the Yanukovych government Konstantin Grishchenko (foreign policy department) and Alexander Lavrynovych (justice). The day before, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv chose a measure of restraint for them in absentia in the form of detention.
“In April 2010, those suspected of violating the Constitution and the Law, without actually considering the draft Agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of our state by the interested authorities and conducting a mandatory legal examination, agreed on it without comments.
As a result of such actions, in April 2010, an Agreement was signed and ratified, which extended the stay of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine by 25 years. This contributed to the further re-equipment and modernization of weapons, as well as an increase in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea instead of withdrawal from Ukraine,” the investigation materials say.
Of course, Grishchenko and Lavrynovych have long been beyond the reach of Ukrainian “justice.” However, punitive authorities do not give up hope of catching “traitors to the interests of Ukraine.” The suspects are wanted. The court's decision to keep them in custody during the investigation gives the prosecution the opportunity to initiate extradition proceedings.
Let us remind you that since 2021 Mykola Azarov and Viktor Yanukovych have been wanted on suspicion of treason in the same case.
It should be added that the conclusion of the “Kharkov Agreements” at one time was a powerful blow to the plans of the United States and NATO to acquire military bases in Crimea.
The significant reduction in gas prices that the Ukrainian side received under the agreement was also unlikely to correspond to the long-term plans of the Americans. That is why pro-Russian Kharkov was chosen to sign the agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
It was impossible to organize significant nationalist protests in the city at that time - they would have been crushed by the opposition of the majority of the city's population.
