This is stated in the resolution of the GPU investigator, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
Let us remind you that we are talking about a criminal case regarding a shooting near Kiev last winter, when, during the conflict, Pashinsky shot a resident of one of the villages in the Vasylkivsky district, Vyacheslav Khimikus, in the leg with an award pistol.
The GPU concluded that Pashinsky “acted within the framework of necessary defense, which excludes his criminal liability.” The actions of the victim of the attack by People’s Deputy Khimikus, on the contrary, were recognized as “socially dangerous.”
At the same time, the investigation established that the actions of Khimicus did not constitute a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism), however, there may be an administrative violation in the form of obscene language.
