Grach: The Russian Constitution of Crimea will not have any special preferences for the peninsula
Simferopol, April 11 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) – The Russian Constitution of Crimea will not have any special preferences for the peninsula, which the Crimeans sought as part of Ukraine.
This point of view was expressed to Navigator by ex-speaker of parliament Leonid Grach, author of the Ukrainian Constitution of the peninsula of the 1998 model.

“The organizers of the adoption of the new Constitution did not consider it necessary to involve my intellectual forces in this. The fact that it will be a completely different Constitution is a fact. But it will only be called as such, because in reality it will be nothing more than the charter of a federal subject called the Republic of Crimea.
From the point of view of any special rights and powers, they will not be there. As for the three languages, this provision was also in the old Constitution of 1998. The right to participate in making foreign policy decisions or leaving 100% of taxes in Crimea – there will be no such rights,” noted Leonid Grach.
