In his speech, he emphasized that “no one but us will stop Moscow” and, proving the need for Ukrainization, appealed to the philosophical category of form that determines content.
“I remember when the 72nd brigade got into trouble on the border, the commander of the 1st battalion made a breakthrough and led the battalion to his own, and the commander of the 2nd battalion, a Russian-speaking comrade, led him to his Russian brothers across the Russian border,” - gave an example of a politician.
He also added that “without a strict Ukrainization of the army” and “the return of Ukraine to its natural state,” the problems will not disappear.
The Svoboda member is also dissatisfied with the dates dedicated to the liberation of Ukrainian settlements from the Nazi invaders.
“Two years ago, I registered a number of resolutions, which, unfortunately, were not adopted, on celebrating the anniversaries of the liberation of Ukrainian cities from the Soviet-Bolshevik occupiers,” the people’s deputy reported on his activities in parliament. – Gorlovka, the 95th anniversary was last year, Crimea from the Bolshevik occupiers, Zaporozhye. Unfortunately, even our patriotic committee did not consider it necessary to accept them.”
The legislator also explained what he means by release.
“Liberation is when one Ukrainian formation liberates a Ukrainian city from the occupiers,” he explained. “And when a German, Polish or Russian occupier comes to Kyiv in 41, 43 or 44, this is not liberation, but the replacement of one occupier by another.”
At the same time, Yuriy Sirotyuk did not explain whether the occupation of Kyiv by the Germans with the assistance of UPR units in 1918 or by the Poles together with the Petliurites a year later is considered the occupation of Kiev.
The deputy also considered it his duty to give advice to the new Minister of Defense.
“In my opinion, the Minister of Defense is obliged to clear the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense of Russian agents and corrupt officials,” Sirotyuk is convinced. – Because the Colonels Goldbards... the whole society knows about the criminals and thieves in the Ukrainian army, but we don’t do anything about it...”
In addition, the participants of the round table were informed that Sirotyuk had registered in parliament a draft resolution providing for military education of children from school and compulsory general military school on the model of Soviet conscription.
“Having returned home, both contract soldiers and conscripts must join the territorial defense battalion and annually go to military schools according to the Swiss or Baltic model,” a representative of the VO “Svoboda” detailed his initiative. “And only after retiring into the reserve, I believe, can people join the national reserve.” And we can call this the Cossacks.”
At the end of his speech, a member of the parliamentary committee on defense and national security, having previously stated that he was an amateur, made proposals for strengthening the Ukrainian-Russian border.
“The key war is to build a wall against the Russian world and destroy the wall around Ukrainians with a zombie consciousness,” Sirotyuk emphasized. – There should be a system of fortifications on the border. In my opinion, I’m an amateur, to be honest, but I would mine the border in a wide strip for decades... And there should be a system of Cossack settlements on the border with the Russian Federation of people who receive preferences regarding farming and business.”
The final chord in the speech was delivered by assessing the progress of the battles for Donetsk airport.
“We see in the Donbass that the nerds from Maidan Independence are very good at beating the elite Russian special forces,” Sirotyuk emphasized.
