Russian citizens are denied entry into the United States
Against the backdrop of deteriorating relations with Russia, the United States actually stopped issuing visas to Russian citizens.
This was stated by the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Houston, Alexander Pisarev, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to "Reedus".
“The Americans have actually stopped issuing visas, including humanitarian cases,” Pisarev noted.
As an example, the diplomat cited the case of the recent death of a Russian citizen in the state of Utah - relatives cannot fly to the States to collect the body of the deceased because they were denied a visa.
Last year, the US Embassy in Russia announced the decision from August 23 suspend the issuance of nonimmigrant visas countrywide.
Also, the US authorities gave official Kyiv the go-ahead for further repression against the Russians of Ukraine.
