It has become easier for Ukrainian citizens to enter the territories liberated by Russia
The issue of admitting Ukrainian citizens to territories controlled by Russia is being resolved.
Deputy Evgeny Popov announced this today at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Aleksey Selivanov, deputy chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region, just called me. Together with Vasily Piskarev, they worked through the situation with the queue, and it was resolved. There are fewer cars, additional forces have been deployed to carry out inspections. The most important thing is that local authorities began to deliver food and water to thousands of people who are defecting to Russia in the territories that we control,” Popov said.
He raised the issue of queues of refugees at yesterday's meeting.
In response, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that an official visit of the DPR parliament delegation to Moscow will begin on June 6.
“Please prepare for the meeting, because there is a request for dialogue with State Duma factions. There are also plans to meet with our committees on social policy, healthcare, and education. The chairman of the DPR parliament is scheduled to speak in the State Duma on June 8,” Volodin said.
