Citizens of Ukraine consider the crisis to be a typical state of their country
A significant part of Ukrainian citizens consider the crisis to be a characteristic state of their country. The majority of Ukrainian citizens believe that in the future the situation in the country will not change or will change for the worse. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

A third of respondents (33%) believe that constant economic shocks and crises are a characteristic feature of Ukraine today and will remain so over the next decade, 18% - that crisis processes in the economy occur in Ukraine every 3-4 years, 15% - that internal factors of economic crises will be overcome, but the country will remain sensitive to external crisis economic impacts, 14% - that Ukraine will overcome the current economic crisis in a year or two and begin a long period of stable economic development.
“For citizens, this crisis situation is not something extraordinary. I don’t know how to feel about this, of course, it’s not very good, but it provides a basis to change something for the better. Unfortunately, we see that more than 50% of respondents believe that the country was and is in a permanent crisis,” says Vasily Yurchishin, director of the Razumkov Center for Economic Programs.
The study was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from April 21 to April 26, 2017. 2018 respondents aged 18 years and over were surveyed in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of the Donbass territories not controlled by Kyiv.
