Tanya Cooper, a researcher at Human Rights Watch in Ukraine, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“Bezobrazov told us that he has very serious health problems as a result of this long detention. Especially with digestion and dental health. He said that during the first six months of his detention in the Kharkov SBU department, he was not given either a toothbrush or toothpaste. He said that it is very difficult when after some time you realize that your teeth are simply starting to fall apart. He called it real torture. He said that now he does not leave the dentist’s office and is trying to somehow restore his health,” Cooper said.
