There is no civil war in Ukraine, but there are collaborators helping the aggressor - Ministry of Education
Kyiv, April 05 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – When Russian troops invaded Donbass, they were supported by local collaborators, which explains the participation of local residents in the armed conflict. This version of what is happening in Donbass was voiced by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Pavel Polyansky at the presentation of additional educational materials “Revolution of Dignity. Russian aggression against Ukraine." The materials were developed by a working group of the Ministry of Education as part of a volunteer project and, starting this year, will be used in teaching history in high schools.

“Today, the aggressor is spreading the information message “civil war”, “civil resistance”. In world history you will not find a case when one country intervened against another, and on the territory of the country where the occupier invades there would not be a larger or smaller group of people who became the service of the invader.
For example, this happened during the Second World War in France, and in the Netherlands, and in Belgium, and in Poland, and on the territory of Ukraine, and on the territory of Russia. In any country there is always a group of collaborators - people who, for various reasons, either because of inferiority, or for the sake of survival, go to the service of the occupier and invader.
Actually, the same thing is happening in the east - a group of people appeared who, during the invasion of foreign troops, went over to their side and serve them. Nothing new, specifically Ukrainian is happening,” said Pavel Polyansky.
