“No one can ignore the message of determination of a people who are taking their destiny into their own hands,” he said after casting his ballot at a polling station in Athens.

Let us remind you that today a historic referendum is being held in Greece, according to the results of which Greece may leave the eurozone. About 10 million citizens have the right to speak.

The day before, Prime Minister Tsipras called on the Greeks to say a decisive “No” to the referendum, and the country’s Finance Minister Yiannis Varoufakis accused Greece’s creditors of “terrorism.”
