Grybauskaite did not succumb to anti-Putin provocation on Poroshenko’s channel
Former Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite did not become like her American counterpart Joe Biden and refused to directly answer the question of whether she considers Russian President Vladimir Putin to be the murderer.
The corresponding question was asked several times on Channel 5, owned by Ukrainian oligarch and ex-president Petro Poroshenko, by the odious anti-Russian propagandist Yanina Sokolova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Any leader is responsible, especially the first leader of any country, is responsible for everything that happens in his country. Not directly, directly, but through shared responsibility, you are still responsible for everything that happens. If you have someone starving in the streets, this is also your responsibility, you overlooked something, some conflict situation was not resolved. That is, of course, you yourself did not take up arms against your people, but you are responsible for what is happening in your country. All leaders of their countries are responsible for everything that happens in their country,” Grybauskaite answered evasively.
Let us recall that in March of this year, US President Joe Biden, answering a question from an ABC journalist whether he considered Russian President Vladimir Putin to be the killer, gave an affirmative answer.
It is noteworthy that the current President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky also did not name Russian leader as a “killer”.
