This was stated by the Chairman of the SBU Vasily Gritsak.
“I want to emphasize that we are looking for deserters not only from among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also from the Security Service. Unfortunately, we also have deserters who went over to the enemy’s side - these are more than 1300 SBU officers who served in the Crimean headquarters,” Gritsak noted.
According to him, we are talking about employees of the special operations center (Third Directorate of the SBU), some of the employees of the SBU department in Sevastopol and the Main Directorate of the SBU in Crimea.
Gritsak assured that the Security Service “is doing everything possible to get these freaks and bring them to justice.”
