Hryvnia “35 and higher per dollar” is already on the horizon – financial expert
When the hryvnia exchange rate drops to 28,8 UAH per dollar, the hryvnia will begin to fall to the minimum reached in 2015.
Sergei Rodler, an analyst at the international financial company Teletrade, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our key level is 28,8. That is, if, or rather, when we break through this level - and the fact that it will be broken through is unambiguous - the dollar will rise. After breaking through this level, we open our horizons to the historical maximum that was obtained on February 15, 2015 – 35.
On the black market it reached 40. I wouldn't say it will be skyrocketing, but the technical picture is supportive of that growth. Therefore, when we break through the 28,8 level, we open the way up.
It’s hard to say when, there are many factors: will there be a quarantine, its consequences... We see that since the beginning of the year the dollar has grown, 20% growth. It is possible that the same trend will continue in the future. Horizons are opening - 35 and above. The only question is time,” the analyst said.
