Kyiv, November 24 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The head of the NBU, Valery Gontareva, despite the rapid devaluation of the hryvnia, the oligarchs will keep in office until they satisfy their appetites.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with the Kraina weekly by the head of the Third Sector analytical center, Andrei Zolotarev.

“For some it’s war, and for others it’s their mother—someone is making good money from this fall,” the political scientist points out. – Some experts say that it is Poroshenko and Kolomoisky. And Gontareva is still working. If a person cannot cope with her responsibilities and finds herself helpless in the position of head of the National Bank, then why is she kept? The answer is obvious: they make a lot of money through it. We're talking billions of dollars."
The expert is also confident that Poroshenko is demonstrating an extremely unsuccessful personnel policy, placing people on the basis of personal proximity.
“This is clear from the appointments of Gontareva, Yarema, Geletey,” Andrei Zolotarev lists the president’s personnel miscalculations. – The last one was removed when huge problems already appeared after the Ilovaisk cauldron. Gontareva remains. Although, they say, since September the Presidential Administration has had four of her resignation letters. But until they are “satiated,” Gontareva will not be fired, and the hryvnia exchange rate will not be stabilized. Systemically, nothing has changed in the country. Power is still a tool for making money, not for implementing political programs and ideas.”
