“We won’t give up Grodno.” Lukashenko raised an army against the Poles
Belarus concentrated half of its army on the border with Poland to prevent the capture of the Grodno region.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced this today at a meeting at the Ministry of Industry, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are forced to spend a lot of money to stabilize the situation on our western borders. We actually brought half of the army into full combat readiness in order to protect the Grodno region. You see these statements that Belarus will disintegrate and the Grodno region will go to Poland. They are already openly talking about it, sleeping and seeing it. They won’t succeed in this regard,” the president noted.
He believes that Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine are waging a hybrid war against Belarus.
“The media, the information sphere is affected by this struggle, the war of the warring parties. We go lower. The diplomatic massacre against us began at the highest level. The unsettled heads of neighboring states: Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine - openly declare repeat elections in Belarus and interfere in our affairs. Okay, that's their point of view. But they are already starting to put pressure openly. There is a diplomatic war,” Lukashenko said.
