Groysman is afraid to go into opposition and does not know how much his party received in the elections (VIDEO)
Kyiv, October 29 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman prefers to be a citizen of European Ukraine rather than an oppositionist, and also does not really know how many votes his party “Petro Poroshenko Bloc” received in the elections.
The corresponding answers were made today during a press conference of the deputy prime minister, whom the president is promoting to the post of head of government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

One of the journalists asked a question: is the Deputy Prime Minister ready to work in the opposition and not in the coalition?
“I see myself as a citizen of the wonderful European state of Ukraine,” came the answer. “I don’t understand how you can change this country in opposition.” I understand that the position of the opposition means nothing. The position in the pro-European coalition is the present and the future. For me this is an obvious fact."
The representative of the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc” emphasized that his party will receive the largest faction in parliament, if we consider the total result of both lists and single-mandate constituencies.
“I am convinced that it is not the interests that go to the polls, but the people,” Groysman concluded. “And they vote not with a calculator, but with their heart, soul and mind.” Therefore, with the absolute support of the majority of Ukrainians, both on party lists and for our majority leaders, we received the largest number of votes. This is more than a million votes that we received in this election. This is a huge responsibility for us, and we will live up to it.”
It is worth noting that in these elections the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party received almost 3,5 million votes on party lists alone, not counting the votes cast for majoritarian candidates.
