“Our prime minister is not doing anything yet, although he has hired specialists. But the horizon of his political ambitions extends much further than the horizon of the president's political ambitions. He was called the president's man, but this is an exaggeration. Many wanted to see him as a presidential man, but this is not so. He is waiting for Poroshenko’s prospects to become clear, whether he will run for a second term, or will prepare Operation Successor. Or he will finish his tenure. I think closer to autumn Groysman can become more active. It is clear that he is unlikely to make it into this election cycle. But speaking from a sociological point of view, if the prime minister’s party were created, then its prospects are much better than those of the BPP. The BPP and the Popular Front are already toxic political assets, and going to elections with them is like death,” the political scientist is sure.
