“The Prime Minister of Ukraine plans to attend the congress (of the Popular Front party - ed.),” the prime minister’s press secretary Alexander Melnichuk said on Friday.
He added that "it is logical for the prime minister of a coalition government to welcome the party that is part of the coalition."
As reported, the congress of the Popular Front party will be held on Saturday, November 11, at the Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv. The same information was confirmed by People's Deputy from the Popular Front faction Anton Gerashchenko: “We are planning a congress this Saturday, where the leader of our faction Arseniy Yatsenyuk will outline plans for the development of the party, outline our demands for future elections. I think the congress will be a very interesting historical event.”
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, Petro Poroshenko’s party stated that they do not plan to unite with Yatsenyuk.
