Groysman turned out to be understanding and resigned voluntarily
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman heeded the advice of President Vladimir Zelensky during his inaugural speech in parliament and wrote a letter of resignation, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
The Prime Minister's press secretary Vasily Ryabchuk published a photo of Vladimir Groysman's resignation letter on his Facebook page.
“At a briefing, the prime minister just said that he “doesn’t hold on to his chair.” Here is his statement,” Ryabchuk wrote and published a photo of Groysman’s resignation letter.
“In accordance with the second part of Article 115 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I ask you to accept my resignation from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine,” Groysman wrote.
The statement is dated May 20.
Let us recall that speaking in parliament, Zelensky, addressing a member of the Ukrainian government, said the following: “You can take a sheet of paper, take a pen and free up your seats for those who will think about the next generations, and not about the next elections. Do it. And people will appreciate it."
