Groysman changed his mind about raising military salaries

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, December 27, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the Government portal.
The explanatory note to the document states that according to the law on pension provision for citizens discharged from military service, an increase in the monetary support of military personnel entails a recalculation of pensions.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers resolution on increasing the monetary support of military personnel does not determine the conditions and amounts of recalculation of pensions for dismissed military personnel.
According to calculations by the Ministry of Social Policy, to recalculate pensions for citizens discharged from military service, an additional 2018 billion hryvnia must be provided in the state budget for 35.
