Groysman broke pots with Poroshenko and is plotting
Vladimir Groysman. The former mayor of Vinnitsa, who became the Prime Minister of Ukraine as a protege of Petro Poroshenko, acquired the ambitions of an independent player and entered into a situational alliance with the Popular Front party of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko stated this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “Ukrlife.TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I don’t know a single prime minister who wouldn’t want to be president... It was the same with Kuchma when he says to me: “Do you see what’s going on? Do you see what this ideologist is doing (ex-ideologist of the Communist Party of Ukraine Kravchuk, - ed.)? Well, is it really possible to save Ukraine like that? Only me”...
His (Groysman, - ed.) was personally appointed by President Poroshenko, he chose the smallest, peaceful one, from a very small town, the existence of which no one knew - this is Vinnitsa. A very nice cozy town. There was no political force behind Groysman, there was no powerful mafia behind him, and so on.
Poroshenko made him prime minister, and he ran to him six times a day for advice, everything was fine.
But at some stage the person saw that life was built differently, and why he outwardly plays the role of prime minister, when in every ministry there are people looking from the head of the administration, from the president, who does not even greet the prime minister.
Gradually, my own positioning was formed, resentment, greed - “how are there such huge flows, but I have nothing to do with this, I make decisions, but these are not implemented, and yet my rating is falling?”
This was all until he found another offended force in the person of the “Popular Front”, plus up to 42 people, I don’t name names, so we can safely say that 42-45 people from the majority party are secretly supporters of Groysman’s sect. This is very important,” the political scientist explained the reasons for the discord between Poroshenko and Groysman.
According to Nebozhenko, this is the first time in Ukraine when such a weak figure as Groysman has gained such powerful political support in the Rada.
“This is the first time we are seeing a situation where the prime minister is not appointed as a result of the vote of some political force, but receives political power while already being prime minister; we have never had this before. Usually the prime minister is the one who holds the majority or is a friend of the president.
He has a small party with the proud name “Vinnitsa European Perspective”. In fact, a large number of deputies and such a powerful force as the Popular Front, I mean not in terms of ratings, but in terms of political resources, it does not want to deal with Poroshenko, but wants to deal with Groysman,” said the political scientist .
