Groysman will test the vaccine on himself in front of cameras
The Ukrainian government and people's deputies need to be the first to get vaccinated against measles so that people stop being afraid of vaccination.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman announced this today at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Thus, during a parliamentary session, a deputy from the “Will of the People” group, Sergei Shakhov, asked when the “orgy of measles vaccination” will finally end in Ukraine and people will stop getting sick.
“As for measles, you should know that vaccination takes place every five years. What we are reaping today is what happened six years ago when no one was vaccinating anyone. Nobody thought about this, that’s why we have such outbreaks. Today we are provided with vaccines and are working to vaccinate Ukrainian citizens as much as possible,” said the head of government.
“I will be the first to do these vaccinations in front of television cameras, so that no one will be afraid of anything,” Groysman promised. – Because this is a normal protection of Ukrainian citizens, people’s lives and health. Therefore, let's not push this onto the Ministry of Health, but think about making changes to the legislation that will make vaccination mandatory. But do it in such a way that the first vaccinations of vaccines are given to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and people’s deputies! So people know it's safe."
As PolitNavigator reported, MP Anton Gerashchenko stated in the Ukrainian parliament that in the event of his death he would not mind if his organs will be donated.
