“The situation on Tuesday, or at most on Wednesday, will be stabilized,” he promises.
As Groysman explained, today a 5-day plan came into effect, formed for such cases (a drop in gas pressure in a pipe from the Russian Federation).
“The situation is absolutely under control and we are confident that everything will be absolutely stabilized,” the prime minister assures.
At the same time, Groysman accused Naftogaz of causing ordinary citizens to suffer.
“I am very sorry that due to the lack of foresight on the part of NJSC Naftogaz, people are suffering somewhat today. You need to think with your head that contracts are good, but when it’s winter, people should have warmth and hot water. This is the main thing that an official should think about, and I will always remind them of this,” the prime minister said.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko called on Ukrainians to “turn up the heat” in their homes.
