Groysman promised to take revenge on Sberbank for recognizing the passports of the Donbass republics
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, during today's government meeting, promised to give a “quick and worthy answer” if it is confirmed that Sberbank of Russia recognizes the documents of the DPR and LPR. Appropriate sanctions will be imposed on the bank, the Ukrainian Prime Minister said.

The topic was raised at the suggestion of the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, who demanded that the government immediately discuss the issue of imposing sanctions against this financial institution. “I ask that the government appeal to the independent regulator of the NBU, the National Security and Defense Council, regarding the urgent consideration of this issue of imposing sanctions against Sberbank of Russia,” Avakov said.
Groysman responded to this that he had already talked about this topic with Petro Poroshenko and Valeria Gontareva.
Calling the Donbass republics “gangster organizations” and their passports a “wolf ticket,” Groysman said that “it is simply unacceptable... that financial institutions are involved in such a dirty story.”
“I think that the NBU and NSDC will react very quickly, and the president, to this situation, and this response will be very, very adequate,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine promised.
Let us recall that a few days earlier, on March 7, on March 7, Sberbank of Russia announced that it was ready to serve clients with DPR and LPR passports in its branches.
